Very nice place , museum was a great experience, kayaking on the lake is the best ever . Place is clean and all the rooms are lake facing, beautiful views, friendly staff. We stayed 2 nights on the way to Vancouver and back . Both times we enjoyed the stay very much . There is no wifi in the rooms , but on vacation I would better to stay away from internet , watching wildlife on the mountains is much more interesting. No air conditioning, but it was not very hot those days , we were lucky to enjoy the stay in full . Going into the woods on a little train so much fun , for kids should be very attractive. Thank you!

The concrete paths throughout the garden and along the back, the indoor and outdoor garden, the common area, exploring the hotel after my kids went to bed and spooking myself was a personal highlight 😆 There was endless things to do, my kids rollerskated and scootered around the entire property at every given opportunity, and a family favorite was finding a new route to and from our room (128) to the restaurant at mealtimes. We could have easily spent a week here exploring the hotel alone, one of my kids even wants us to "just move in to the hotel"! Thanks for the great stay, great memories

Of course, the most attractive thing was the ghost town museum for us. As hotel's guests we had 50% ticket discount. And it completely satisfies our expectations. This town is built from either real houses or replicas and have internal furniture/equipment, the most interesting exhibits were trains (one of them was used as the premier minister car) The hotel is situated in a beautiful place - between mountains and tremendous lake view. The hotel does not have a complementary breakfast but you can have it in the cafe. We had a dinner - with nice view and delicious dishes.

The view from our room was terrific as it overlooked the "courtyard" and beach area. This prompted us to explore the grounds before dinner and again the next day. The next day we toured the museum and ghost town before continuing our road trip. Altogether it was a terrific experience and we will probably go back. We had a lovely meal on the deck off the dining room the night we arrived and the service and food was terrific. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. We have recommended this hotel to friends.

three lakes is a icon of travel in this area. We prefer it to the Revelstoke area for staying when in Canada. The 3 lakes make you feel like you are in Europe. The adjacent "ghost town" is a fantastic, well laid out, informative tour through early pioneer history with some train features thrown in. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very nice and most have a view of the adjacent lake. It would have been a wonderful location for a wedding or similar event.
